Friday's Fave Five

I love this meme! It's time to look back over the week and see some of my favorites from it.

  1. I began exercising Monday.- I finally found something I think will work for me in this season of life. I am doing in home walking with Leslie Sansone and it's been so good!
  2. I have felt SO much better since I have been eating different. I have only had 2 sodas in almost a week. I have done some other things and I feel so good!
  3. A good school week with my boys.- They are learning so much about the Bible through our home-school curriculum and it makes me so happy. We had a really great week!
  4. Having 4 off days with my husband.- Today was his first and he won't have to go back to work until Monday. Woo-hoo!
  5. Implementing a quiet time.- We started that yesterday. From 1-2 p.m I read while the boys play, draw, or watch a DVD. From 2-3 p.m. I do things on my blog while they continue to do the above. It's been nice. They enjoy it also.
I hope everyone has had a great week. We're looking forward to a lazy weekend and church on Sunday! Link up with Susanne @ Living to Tell the Story and check out her post.

  1. Good for you with healthy eating and exercise! I really like Leslie Sansone as well. It's so convenient - she makes it hard to make excuses to skip exercise :)

I always had a quiet time in the afternoon with my 5. I liked it and so did they although they protested every now and then...

Hope you have a great weekend!

  2. I used to do the walking videos with Leslie Sansone, I enjoyed that. I haven't done that in a long time!

  3. Hurray for a great week in many areas.

You just had to remind me about the Leslie Sansone video I bought two weeks ago! I haven't done a thing with it yet. Hopefully next week I will be able to say that I also walked with her. ;)

  4. Sounds like a great week! (You have three boys? I have four! We boy moms have to stick together.) Love that quiet time, for everyone.

Hope you have a great week ahead.

  5. Quiet times are great...especially for you homeschooling moms!! And yeah for better eating and working out...I also wrote about those things!! i haven't had soda in over 3 years and then last Saturday evening it was ALL the place had where my husband and i popped in for dinner. They didn't even have water bottles for sale! I only drank about 1/3 of the soda and still felt "ick". Good for you for giving it up. I felt soooo much better when i removed it from my life. I hope you have a very restful weekend

  6. Quiet time is a must when you have little ones and especially when you homeschool too! Enjoy those moments of just taking a breath!

Applauding you for starting exercising and for changing your eating habits step by step. Soda is a really good one to cut back on and see quick changes in how you feel! I started the exercise last September but now that Christmas is over I definitely have to look at making changes in the eating department.

  7. Love me some quiet time! Even as an empty nester, I sometimes have to schedule quiet time in.

I'm so glad your dietary changes have been helping you to feel better. I used to do the Leslie Sansone videos too. I should start back.

Enjoy your long weekend with your hubby!

  8. Hurray for finding an exercise you enjoy and can do easily. Quiet time is good for everyone-mom and the kids, even if they don't nap. Have a fun weekend!

I'm so glad you stopped by! I love hearing from those who read my blog,so share your thoughts with me.
