A Simple Woman's Day Book

Outside my window... The sun is peaking up over the trees and apartments and the temps are cool.
I am thinking...about what we shall do today!
I am thankful for...my parents. We spent all day with them yesterday! It was so much fun!
From the kitchen... I am about to cook pancakes and for lunch we are having my husband's favorite, hamburgers and macaroni and cheese.
I am wearing...still my night clothes hehe..
I am creating...my son's 1st birthday party!
I am going...to get milk later at the goat farm.
I am reading...The Dream Giver by Bruce Wilkinson still and the VOM magazines.
I am hoping...we have a relaxing, fun day! My husband is off,so I wanna go outside with the boys.
I am hearing...Daniel and Aaron watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on t.v.
Around the house...I am bagging up summer clothes and pulling out winter clothes.
One of my favorite things...coming home to my 2 boys and husband when I have to go get groceries. My boys greet me with hugs and kisses, never gets dull.
A few plans for the rest of the week: wash some laundry and make a run to Target.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing...
This was yesterday at my parents. Aaron loved walking up and down the stairs,so Mimi happily helped him. :)

  1. Enjoy your fun family day! May it be a blessed one.

  2. I always enjoyed coming home to my girls when they were little. They really acted excited to see me! Enjoy it while you can!

Hope you had a great day with your family.

  3. I've read quite a few day books where changing seasonal clothes in closets and drawers is the chore on the to-do list...
    Have a great day,
    Mama Bear

  4. I'm with you - very, very thankful for my parents!

  5. Heather ~

I visited today from The Simple Woman's Daybook...I agree, it is such a blessing when our husbands are off and can spend more time with the family. My husband was off yesterday and we were able to spend the day together (some work, some play).

We just celebrated our seventh's 1st birthday last month...our oldest is twenty...time flies ~ enjoy every moment.

I like the "I am thankful" addition to your entry...great idea. A Thankful Heart is the study/challenge/giveaway I am hosting this month. To have a heart of gratitude for all the Lord has done and is doing... =)

    Blessings ~

  6. There is nothing better than simple meals like hamburgers and mac n cheese:) I've always wanted to try goat's milk, but haven't worked up the nerve yet! lol
    Have a blessed day!

I'm so glad you stopped by! I love hearing from those who read my blog,so share your thoughts with me.
