As much as I don't like to get wet,unless I am swimming, I am very thankful for all the rain we have had this week! It has cooled things off here in the deep South very much. We were up in the 100's and have dropped down to the 80's this week. Sweet relief! The sound of the rain is very soothing as well. God is good isn't He? He loves us enough to care about our every need,even being very hot! Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned. Song of Solomon 8:7 Nothing can quench that love for us and we should not let anything quench our love towards Him!
